How can I enable or disable emergency alerts on my devices?
Due to these types of alerts (AMBER alerts, Government Emergency Alerts, Presidential Alerts, etc) being a public service, we are unable to silence or block these alerts within Ensemble. However, there is a work around that you can do on the devices themselves.
- Navigate to the Settings app
- In the search field within the Settings app, search for either "Amber" or "Emergency" to find the specific menu location for your device(s).
- Generally it is under the "Other" category. Clicking the result will take you directly to the menu location
- From here, you can choose to disable all alerts, except for Presidential Alerts, or go one by one and choose which you want to disable, as well as change any settings you wish regarding the alerts.
