Requesting a bug report is an easy process, and it is very helpful when troubleshooting your device(s).


Steps:


1. Go to the Devices page within the Ensemble management site.

2. Find the specific device you want the bug report from.

3. Choose Options | Remote Commands | Request Bug Report.

4. The device will get an notification in the notification shade requesting approval to send a bug report; approve it. This will pull the bug report. Note, this may take a short while to gather the bug report data and upload it to the server.

5. After waiting a while, you can find the report in the Ensemble management site by again finding the device in the Device Management Table, then choosing Options | History | Bug Report History.

6. Choose the report that is from this date, and download it. Each manufacturer uploads different bug report files with varying file structures. The file you are looking for has the logcat and is generally the largest file in the zipped folder. The file should be bugreport-BUILD_ID-DATE.txt.
