Uploading Private Content


  • Navigate to the 'Private Content' page.
  • Select 'Upload Content' in the top-right of the Items table.
  • Click anywhere in the box to open the file explorer or drag files directly into the box.
  • Once the files appear in the table, click "Upload".
  • Note: Delete items from the queue individually using the trash button in the row of the item or all at once by hitting the "Clear All" button
  • Once uploaded, a green check-mark will appear in the status for each.
  • Confirm and the file(s) will appear in the Items table.



Managing Private Content


Each item in the Item table will have an options menu in the far-right column. Click the options menu of the content you wish you manage.


Options:


  • More information: Allows you to see information about the content. I.e, file name, Size, what project(s) it's on, package name, etc.
  • Manage Restrictions (.apk): If you have a restriction key you wish to add to the content, you can add and edit them here.
  • Manage Application Permissions (.apk): Allows you to change the permissions of the application as the default for future projects.
  • Delete: Removes file from project, after a deploy it will remove it from the devices as well.

Google Play Content


In order to add Google Play Store content, you must first have an Enterprise set up. For further information on how to set up your Enterprise, please see our knowledgebase article here: Setting Up An Enterprise


  • Navigate to the 'Content' tab, and then Google Play Content.
  • Click the '+' button.


  • Search for the app you need, select it, and then choose 'Select'.


  • Select 'Next' once you have selected the apps you want to add.
  • Hit 'Finish' on next page to add the apps to your company content page.

Managing Google Play Content


After adding the content from the Google Play Store, you can manage the apps from the Google Play Content table, by pressing the 'Options' button on the right side of the tables.


Get App Details: This will open a tab to the Google Play Store to the application page, to show the description, publisher, and other application details.


Manage Configuration: If the application supports doing managed configurations, you can set these configurations here. For further information on this, please see our guide to Managed Configurations here.


Manage Application Permissions: This screen allows you to change the permissions of the application, such as access to Camera, Calendar functions, etc.


Remove Application: This will remove the application from the content menu of the company.


By adding content to this page, this does not add it to a project or to your device(s). You must add the content to your project, and then deploy those changes for them to take affect on your device(s).
