Knox Mobile Enrollment (KME) is a persistent over-the-air (OTA) deployment method for supported Samsung devices.


Note: Your devices must be loaded on a KME profile before going through the setup wizard.


Installing Management with KME


Start with a new device out of the box or factory reset a device.

  • Log out of all Gmail accounts before factory resetting.
  • To factory reset a device, go to the Settings menu.
  • Go to the "General" or "General Management" settings.
  • Select "Reset" then "Factory data reset".
  • Type "factory reset" in the search settings to find it easier.


Note: factory reset options may be different depending on your Android model and OS.

  • Connect to a Wi-Fi network or enter a SIM card with data.
  • Proceed through the Setup Wizard. See the example below:
