An APN is the gateway which allows mobile device networks to connect to the internet. NOTE: This feature is only supported on Samsung Devices. The corresponding SIM must be in the device for the APN to populate.
Navigate to the APN tab to begin.
- Fill out the General APN Settings as shown below:
- Name: Enter a friendly name for the APN.
- MCC: Mobile Country Code
- APN Type: APN types are usage categories for an APN entry. One APN entry may support multiple APN types, eg, a single APN may service regular internet traffic ('default') as well as MMS-specific connections.
- APN Protocol: This specifies whether your device should enable IPv4, IPv6 or both.
- APN: Access Point Name
- MNC: Mobile Network Code.
- Authentication Type: Choose the apn's authentication type. Password authentication protocol (PAP), challenge handshake authentication protocol (CHAP) or either.
- APN Roaming Protocol: This specifies whether your device should enable IPv4, IPv6 or both when roaming.
- Fill out the MMS Settings as shown below
- MMSC: The MMS server address.
- MMS Proxy: The MMS proxy address.
- MMS Port: The MMS port number.
- Server: The APN server address.
- APN Proxy: The APN proxy address.
- Username: The APN username
- Password: The APN password
- Click "Done" then click "save".
- Clicking "Reset" will bring you back to the first step.
